The global history of the environment cannot limit itself to looking at how the Western model asserted itself in the countries of the South of the world. It also needs to study how this model merged with local experiences. Each country or market was assumed to be isolated from others. Today’s Global Environment is very different. Managers need to learn to compete globally.
