The right to housing is recognized in international human rights instruments. The right to housing is the economic, social and cultural to adequate housing along with shelter. It is recognized in numerous national constitutions and inside the Universal Declaration involving Human Rights along with International Covenant on Economic, Social along with Cultural Rights. In international human being rights law the right to housing is a freestanding right.
