Basic objective of this report is to explain Equivalent Static Force Method and Time History Analysis in light of BNBC and check their incorporation of ETABS software. For seismic lateral force may be calculated by two methods, namely, Equivalent Static Force Method and Dynamic Analysis. In Bangladesh, the number of high rise building is increasing day by day. For seismic lateral force calculation, Equivalent Static Force Method is most commonly used because of its simplification.
