Prime focus of this lecture is to present on Projectile Motion. Projectile motion is a form of motion in which an object or particle (called a projectile) is thrown near the earth’s surface, and it moves along a curved path under the action of gravity only. Projectile motion is motion with a constant horizontal velocity combined with a constant vertical acceleration. The projectile moves along a parabola. A projectile is an object upon which the only force acting is gravity. There are a variety of examples of projectiles.
