A location based service is a software program for a IP-capable mobile device that will require knowledge about where the mobile device can be found. Location based service needs five basic components: the service provider’s software program, a mobile network to be able to transmit data and requests for service, a content provider to deliver the end user together with geo-specific information, a positioning component and the end user’s mobile product.
