Basic purpose of this lecture is to discuss on Synchronization. Here briefly discuss on Clock Synchronization, when each machine has its own clock, an event that occurred after another event may nevertheless be assigned an earlier time. Also discuss on Physical Clocks, Cristian’s Algorithm, Berkeley Algorithm, Centralized Algorithm, Distributed Algorithm and Toke Ring Algorithm. Finally discuss on Transaction Model and Serializability.
