Hear How Front Raised Serious Cash from Unconventional Investors on Live

The front’s cap table reads like an investor’s honor roll. Mathilde Collin, the company’s CEO and co-founder, received funding from a number of Silicon Valley corporations and other investors. She’ll be presenting on TechCrunch Live on April 27 to describe her method for raising funding from non-traditional VCs. On the program, one of those VCs also speaks. Front’s $59 million Series C was led by Frederic Kerrest. He’s also a senior consultant to Blackstone’s growth fund and co-founder and COO of Okta. Kerrest’s podcast and planned book, “Zero to IPO,” have the same title. I recently completed reading the book, and it is an excellent resource that I strongly suggest.

The book is organized to guide entrepreneurs through the many stages of launching a business, from generating a concept to getting early capital to preparing for an IPO. This event begins with networking and pitch practice submissions on April 27 at 11:30 a.m. PDT / 2:30 p.m. EDT. At 12 p.m. PDT, the interview will begin, followed by the TCL Pitch Practice at 12:30 p.m. PDT. Register for free here.

Mathilde Collin, Front’s co-founder and CEO, collected money from a group of non-traditional investors, including Frederic Kerrest, Okta’s COO and co-founder. Collin’s innovative fundraising technique and how early-stage firms may finance outside of traditional investors will be discussed on TechCrunch Live on April 27. Kerrest, who also does a podcast, led Front’s Series C and is releasing a book called Zero to IPO, which is the same title as his fantastic show.
