The significance of health and safety at work cannot be flashy. The employer has together a moral and a legal obligation to make sure that his employee’s effort in both a safe and healthy surroundings. Decently no employee should be compulsory to effort in an environment where his wellbeing is at jeopardy. It also makes good business sense to make sure that workers are both safe and healthy during working hours. Sick or injured workers lead to a drop in production and a subsequent loss of profits.
