Freight containers are standardised re-sealable transportation field for unitized freight handling with standardised equipment. Freight containers are manufactured in various different dimensions and new shipping containers tend to be made from substantial tensile rust inhibiting Corten Steel, which allows you increase their lifetime. Freight Containers are used in intermodal freight transport, and are key items utilised in a system known as containerization. They are also referred to as intermodal transport units and so are loaded and sealed intact onto train cars, ships, aeroplanes and trucks.
