Distribution is the movement of merchandise and services from the source through a distribution channel, right up to the final buyer, consumer or end user and the activity of payment in the opposite direction, right up to the original company or supplier. Distribution of products takes place with channels. Channels are models of interdependent organizations involved with making the product designed for consumption to end-user.
