Customary law exists where a certain legal exercise is observed plus the relevant actors consider it to be regulation. Most customary law manage standards of community which were long established in a given locale. However this term can also apply at areas of overseas law where certain standards are actually nearly universal of their acceptance as proper bases of actions – in instance, laws against piracy or slavery.
