This lecture introduce on Causes of Floods. Flooding occurs most commonly from heavy rainfall when natural watercourses do not have the capacity to convey excess water. Natural Causes: Excessive rains and Overflowing of rivers, lagoons, lakes,etc. Human causes: Bad agricultural practice; Bad infrastructure; Deforestation and Urban increase.
