It is a broadly described annual report of RAK Ceramics (Bangladesh) Limited in the year of 2015. During the year 2015, RAK Ceramics (Bangladesh) Ltd. had contributed to National Exchequer total of Taka. 1,817.41 million, by way of Corporate Income tax of Tk. 147.15 million, withholding tax and vat from suppliers and service providers of Tk. 240.26 million, the VAT of Tk. 816.15 million, the supplementary duty of Tk. 452.45 million and other duties/taxes of Tk. 161.40 million. Revenues decreased by 8.16 percent to Taka. 5,059.30 million in 2015 from Taka. 5,508.64 million in 2014. Gross profit decreased by 4.04 percent to Taka. 2,162.41 million in 2015 from Taka. 2,253.37 million in 2014. Profit after tax (PAT) increased by 94.45 percent to Taka 1,094.34 million in 2015 from Tk. 562.80 million in 2014. EBITDA increased by 31.55 percent to Taka. 1,758.33 million in 2015 from Taka. 1,336.63 million in 2014. EPS increased by 94.61 percent to Tk. 3.25 per share in 2015 from Tk. 1.67 per share in 2014.

The Board of Directors of the Company is pleased to recommend cash dividend @ 25 percent of paid-up capital of the Company for the year 2015. The Company paid cash dividend @ 25 percent of paid-up capital of the Company for the year 2014. These financial statements are presented in Bangladesh Taka (Taka/Tk/BDT) which is the company’s functional currency. All financial information presented in Taka has been rounded off to the nearest Taka.
