It is a broadly described annual report of Tata Consultancy Services Limited in the year of 2006-2007. During the financial year, The Company earned a total income of Rs. 15156.52 Crores an increase of 34.20% over previous year’s Rs. 11293.76 Crores. As per the Consolidated Accounts, the total income was Rs. 18914.26 Crores an increase of 41.38% over the previous year’s Rs. 13377.88 Crores. Operating Expenditure Rs. 10639.00 Crore. The net profit of the Company for the year increased to Rs. 3757.29 Crores (24.79% of the total income) as compared to Rs. 2716.87 Crores (24.06% of total income) in the previous year. As per the Consolidated Accounts, the net profit for the year was Rs. 4212.63 Crores (22.27% of total income) as compared to Rs. 2966.74 Crores (22.18% of total income) in 2005-06.
The Board of Directors of the company is pleased to recommend for approval of the Members a Final Dividend of Rs. 4/- per share of 97,86,10,498 equity shares of Re. 1/- each of the Company for the financial year 2006-07.
