Hypertension also recognized as high blood pressure or arterial hypertension, is a chronic medical circumstance in which the blood pressure in the arteries is high. Blood pressure is expressed by two measurements, the systolic and diastolic pressures, which are the highest and lowest pressures, respectively, in the arterial system.
