Propane processing is a complex industrial process meant to clean raw natural gas by separating pollutants and various non-methane hydrocarbons and fluids to create what is termed pipeline quality dry natural gas. Natural gas processing begins for the well head. The composition in the raw natural propane extracted from producing wells depends on the type, detail, and location in the underground deposit plus the geology of the area.
